On a private cruise you have the whole boat for your own group (up to 25 guests) and sail for 1.5 hours with your own skipper. With individual tickets you join a 75-minute shared cruise with other guests — ideal if you are on your own or with a small group.
From 26 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. The private cruise departs daily at 16:45, 18:30 and 20:15. The shared cruise departs daily at 18:30, on Friday and Saturday also at 16:45 and 20:15, and on Sunday also at 16:45.
A private cruise costs from €395 for the whole boat, plus €2.70 city tax per person. An individual ticket costs €39.75 including unlimited drinks or €29.75 without drinks; children aged 4 to 12 pay €19.90 or €14.90. You pay the full amount online when you book.
Individual tickets can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. A private cruise can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days in advance; between 7 days and 48 hours ahead you get 50% back, after that no refund applies.
At Stationsplein, directly opposite Amsterdam Central Station. Cross the tram tracks and walk down the stairs to the jetty. Look for the dark sloop named Mosi Jo or Zaza.
Our open electric sloops have a canopy that stays closed during the Amsterdam Light Festival, and there are blankets on board. Still, dress warmly with a hat and scarf. Only in dangerous weather can a cruise be cancelled; in that case you get your money back.
