Amsterdam Boat Company

Amsterdam Boat Company was born from the passion for boats of the two brothers Boris and Maxim Bouten. For more than 7 years, as proud boat owners themselves, they have sailed extensively through Amsterdam’s canals. In which they always agreed on one thing, the Amsterdam canals, they never get boring. There is so much beauty to see and experience in Amsterdam. And from a boat you experience it in a very unique and beautiful way.

When the opportunity came along in 2023 to start a shipping company and take it all more seriously, the proverbial knot was quickly tied. With a vision, though. Because Amsterdam is beautiful as it is, and they wanted to contribute to that. Therefore, time yet effort was saved to give the boat the look it has now. Authentic, luxurious and a joy to look at. Perfectly suited to Amsterdam’s canals. Moreover, the boat is fully electric so we cruise silently and emission free.

Boris and Maxim are the figureheads of the company, but we sail forward thanks to our skippers and the team around us.

The boat is chic and super spacious, we regularly take clients as an outing and we really like it. Nothing is more beautiful than sailing through Amsterdam’s canals.
